The Paso Robles Chamber Ballet Company

The Paso Robles Chamber Ballet is in it’s 13th season under the direction of Artistic Director Cheryle Armstrong. PRCB is an extension of the Class Act Dance and Performing Arts Studio, which has been bringing quality dance training to San Luis Obispo County for over 20 years.
PRCB’s mission is to provide each dancer with a solid foundation in ballet training that is built on an extensive and challenging curriculum. Through a supportive, non-competitive environment that upholds the traditions of classical ballet training, dancers learn to achieve their personal goals and hone their natural talents. Their growth and appreciation for ballet evolves through the continued exposure to the art.
PRCB’s dance program offers dancers many educational and performing opportunities, bringing in world-class talent for master classes, choreography, and productions. Workshops bring in professional dancers and instructors from all disciplines of dance.
PRCB dancers continually benefit by being partnered with professional dancers and choreographers in a variety of productions, including its annual production of The Nutcracker, in association with the NCDPAF. The production has become a winter and Christmas time tradition playing to sold out audiences for 13 seasons. Our local youth outreach program allows students throughout the county the chance to see the semi-professional production at no charge. Original contemporary ballets, such as Let It Be, Koo Sa Moo, Ishtar, and Creon, as well as the classic tales of Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland, have continued to entertain audiences throughout San Luis Obispo County for the past decade.
PRCB dancers have been awarded summer and year long scholarships to some of the nation’s top ballet schools, including Kirov Academy, Julliard, ABT, SAB, Joffrey, and Maple Conservatory. PRCB will be performing this year in Phoenix Arizona May 1st - 5th as part of the Regional Dance of America RDA festival 2013.
