Junior Choreography & Scheduling I hear you! I want you to know that I have received some feedback and concern about the Juniors dance schedule and I am working on devising a plan. At the present time I am proposing that the dancers will be rehearsing their 2 pieces of choreography every other week instead of every week. I understand there is a lot of time spent at the studio with Nutcracker and our additional performing opportunity for the White Memorial Hospital benefit so hopefully not rehearsing every week will be helpful up through the Nutcracker season. Costumes are still in the process of being decided so we will be following through with that information as soon as it has been completed. "Revolting Children" Rehearsal dates Thursdays 6:30 - 7:30 October 19th, November 2nd, 16th "Coppelia" Rehearsal dates Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:15 October 11th, 25th November 8th Choreography Fees will be charged after Coppelia dance has been completed. I am working with Kristen on finding a date. Dancers "Markers" and "Progress reports" Our intention @ CAD is to provide you and your dancer with high quality training while maintaining enthusiasm for that level of training. It is our understanding that in order to inspire the level of enthusiasm necessary to continue dance training at a more rigorous pace the dancer must know where they stand in their training and what their "wins" are and what "needs improvement" Ms Theresa and I have created a schedule for "carved out time to meet with all the Junior dancers and their parent/parents to communicate this information. You will be receiving an email titled Assessments with that information. BodyTraffic Field Trip We are excited for our field trip next Wednesday! For those dancers who will not be attending please note there will still be class so make sure you attend. PRDC 2023 - 2024 Information and Google form feedback This has been a “different” year from the past due to several contributing factors and I would like to communicate with you that I feel it is essential that myself and hopefully Dori and possibly Kristen have a sit down meeting with all the PRDC parents to clarify this year’s plan. I am hoping to be healthy enough to be back to the studio next week so I can schedule this meeting in the next few weeks for all to attend. I know it is difficult to get us all in one place at one time but I will do my best.
