COVID 19 POLCIES & PROCEDURES

CAD IS STILL DANCING WHILE STAYING HEALTHY AND SAFE!

We are eternally grateful that our staff, instructors, and dancers have stayed healthy and safe through this global health crisis. We are equally grateful for the opportunity to continue our operations, both virtually and back in the studio while adhering to strict safety and sanitization protocol.

1. FACE COVERINGS & CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

We are consistently monitoring Covid 19 and making decisions to best protect dancers, their families, and our instructors. We are following government guidelines set forth by state and local departments. Face coverings continue to be requested, depending on vaccination status,  current guidelines, and personal health exemptions.

On Monday, Feb. 28th, the Governor of the State of California announced that the state’s requirement for masking in schools will expire on Friday, March 11, 2022, allowing students regardless of vaccination status, to be without a face mask beginning on Saturday, March 12, 2022. This is a relief for many and hopefully an indication that COVID will soon be behind us.

This will allow all families and students to make an individual choice in regard to wearing a mask inside of our Studio. Class Act Dance will be fully implementing this guidance on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

In the meantime, if there are any further official announcements that allow for earlier legal adoption of mask choice in the classroom, then we as Class Act dance are fully ready to implement those immediately.

As we follow this new guidance it is important that we support and respect all students in their individual choice in regard to wearing a mask. It is crucial for us that all students and their families are valued and respected with the choice that they and their family supports. One should not make assumptions regarding someone’s beliefs or health status based upon their choice to wear or not wear a mask, nor should they comment on them.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Students should continue to remain home when sick.

Students and staff are encouraged to take a COVID-19 test if exhibiting symptoms

and/or if they have a known exposure to COVID-19.

We too look forward to leaving COVID and the related restrictions in the rear-view mirror and being able to see our dancers and family members' smiling faces as they enter and leave our studio.
Until then, we request that you and your child continue to wear a mask within our facility.

2. SOCIAL DISTANCING

We are consistently monitoring Covid 19 and making decisions to best protect dancers, their families, and our instructors. We are following government guidelines set forth by state and local departments.  Curriculum and movement are periodically modified to allow for social distancing throughout the class if necessary to comply with
government guidelines.

3. CLEANING & SANITIZING

Deep cleaning is performed in dance rooms and throughout the studios every night. If the need arises cleaning
will be done in between classes as necessary and promoted by government guidelines.

4. AIRFLOW

The HVAC systems at both studio locations are serviced regularly and filters replaced. Doors are kept open

as much as possible when the heat outside is manageable, and the large roll-up door at Studio D is kept open during class to allow for increased ventilation.
