CAD IS STILL DANCING WHILE STAYING HEALTHY AND SAFE
We are eternally grateful that our staff, instructors, and dancers have stayed healthy and safe through this global health crisis. We are equally grateful for the opportunity to continue our operations, both virtually and back in the studio, while adhering to strict safety and sanitization protocol. We have been authorized to hold "Day Camp" classes in studio and have implemented the following health and safety measures:
1.) CHECK-IN PROCEDURE
Dancers and instructors wear face coverings during the check-in process which includes temperature checks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing. Dancers may no longer bring large dance bags with them, and dressing rooms and kitchens are closed.
2.) SOCIAL DISTANCING
In the dance rooms, dancers are assigned small, spaced out squares to keep their personal belongings and then move to a six-foot personal square designated with colored tape on the dance floor. Curriculum and movement have been modified to allow for social distancing throughout the class. Face coverings are required in the lobby areas and when using the restroom.
3.) CLEANING & SANITIZING
Dance floors, barres, and commonly touched surfaces such as door handles are sanitized in between all classes with a change of dancers. Deep cleaning is performed in dance rooms and throughout the studios every night.
The HVAC systems at both studio locations are serviced regularly and filters replaced. Doors are kept open as much as possible when the heat outside is manageable, and the large roll-up door at Studio D is kept open during class to allow for increased ventilation.
