Not sure which class to try? No problem, we’re happy to make a recommendation! After the trial, your instructor will share feedback with our front office to confirm the best class placement for your dancer.
Registration
Registration for the regular season (September - May) is $30.00 per student or $45.00 per family (not extended family).
There is a $15.00 fee for new summer students and families.
By registering at Class Act Dance & Performing Arts Studio, you are committing yourself and/or your student to ongoing instruction and participation
New Heartland families must request the first month certificate on the Class Act Dance Catalog which includes the monthly tuition and the one time service fee.
Tuition Details
Tuition and fees are non-refundable and paid on a monthly basis. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A $25 late fee will be charged to accounts not paid by the 10th of the month. This applies to credit card transactions that are declined and checks that are returned.
You are entering into a monthly obligation whether you or your student attends every class. Pro-rating is only eligible at the time of enrollment. Our season covers the months of September through May. Similar to private school tuition, monthly tuition takes into account that some months have five weeks and some months have holiday closures. Tuition is distributed accordingly so that full value is received for the duration of the season.
The summer session is held during the months of June - August and requires separate enrollment from the regular season. An additional registration fee is not necessary except for students newly enrolling.

​We’re proud to be an approved Heartland Charter vendor, making it easy for homeschool students to use charter funds for dance training at Class Act Dance. Provided below is an overview on how to process works. If you have further questions, please contact info@classactdance.com.

Email info@classactdance.com with your child’s name, age, and the class you’d like to sample. We’ll confirm a trial date and welcome you to the studio! A free trial is not required, but encouraged to explore the studio environment.
Choose Your Class
Once you have chosen your desired class(es) visit the Heartland Vendor page to request a certificate. We encourage you to keep CAD updated on your certificate process. While not guaranteed, we will do our best to hold a space for your dancer.

Log in to your Heartland portal.

Find Class Act Dance on the vendor list.

Request a Certificate (sometimes called a Purchase Order) for the monthly tuition amount.

Select the correct class name and day so Heartland can match the request to our roster.

Certificate orders with the incorrect class names can not be accepted by CAD.
Heartland Sends Us The Certificate
Heartland will directly email the certificate to our office. Once we receive it, we convert your tentative spot into an official enrollment and email you a confirmation.
Monthly Payment Cycle
Heartland remits tuition to Class Act Dance each month. If we do not receive a valid certificate for the month, tuition automatically becomes the family’s responsibility.

​New Heartland families must request the "First Month Certificate" on the Class Act Dance Catalog which includes the monthly tuition and the one time service fee. If enrolling in multiple classes at once, only select the "First Month Certificate" for one of these classes to avoid paying two or more service fees.

Certificates must be renewed if your tuition rate changes.

Additional costs may apply if committing to an additional activity that is not covered by Heartland such as costumes, performance fees, or private lessons. These will be billed directly to families.

Payments from Heartland can be delayed by one month or more. Your account portal may show an outstanding fee, but please note that if we sent you confirmation that your certificate was received, you will not be charged.
Policies & Procedures
Payment Options
AutoPay – We encourage families to set up AutoPay with a credit card which will be charged on the first of the month to avoid a late fee of $25. Cash and Checks are also accepted in the office. A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks. All students must carry a credit card on file which will be charged if tuition is not being paid on time.
Class Adjustments
You may withdraw or adjust classes by emailing info@classactdance.com. Refunds or credits are not offered for classes dropped mid-month. ​ Make-up classes are highly encouraged for missed classes, and can be scheduled at anytime throughout the year. If you withdraw from the class, you forfeit your makeup classes. Please contact the office to schedule your make-up or to request class recommendations. ​ Make-ups for regular-season classes are only valid during the months of September through May (not during the summer session). Missed summer session classes may not be made up during the regular season.​ Advance email notification of absences is appreciated so that instructors may be informed.
Studio Closures
The studio is closed in observance of Federal Holidays. Please find a detailed list of studio closures on our calendar page or in the office. If your class falls on a federal holiday where the studio is closed, you may make-up this class at any time. These make-ups will be offered as opportunities to drop in alternative classes. Monthly tuition accounts for studio closures during holiday breaks, and therefore, are not eligible for make-up sessions. Upper-level classes may be rescheduled or made up during the performance weeks of Nutcracker, Winter Showcase and the annual recital.
Performances
At Class Act Dance we believe performing is a crucial component of a dancer’s training and experience. Our annual events give our dancers the thrilling opportunity to shine on stage, build confidence, and celebrate their growth with friends, family, and community. Our studio’s performances are as follows: Winter Showcase – CAD Kids Classes The Nutcracker EPIC - Emerging Performers in Concert Night at the Ballet Alice in Wonderland Annual Showcase – All CAD classes are invited to perform.
Studio Policies
We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Refunds will be provided for students who have prepaid. Please arrive on time and prepared to dance. Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late may be asked to observe the class to avoid injury risk due to missing the warmup. Please do not interrupt classes to speak with the CAD instructors. We suggest instead to email info@classactdance.com with any questions or concerns you may have or to schedule an appointment with an instructor. Please pick dancers up promptly when class ends as Class Act Dance & Performing Arts Studio is not responsible for watching children after class or unattended siblings.
Rentals & Private Lessons
Class Act Dance offers studio space rentals for rehearsals, choreography sessions, and private lessons. All rentals are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance. Rental Rates PRDC Members: $20.00/hour CAD Dancers (non-PRDC members): $30.00/hour Non-CAD Dancers – Studio B: $40.00/hour Non-CAD Dancers – Studio A: $50.00/hour Private Lessons If you are interested in scheduling a private lesson, please email info@classactdance.com to be paired with one of our instructors. Please note: Private lessons incur an additional instructor fee on top of the studio rental rate.
