Hippity Hoppity

A sweet introduction to the dance studio for our youngest dancers and their grown-ups! Together, you’ll explore creative movement, music, playful yoga poses, and simple mindfulness exercises—all designed to support your child’s early development.

Designed for curious and energetic movers, this class blends ballet, tap, and yoga in a fun and imaginative way. Dancers will learn basic technique, build rhythm through tap, and practice mindfulness with beginner yoga—all while using age-appropriate props to spark creativity.

This foundational class prepares young dancers for Level 1 of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) syllabus. Dancers will begin developing proper alignment, technique, and musicality through structured exercises designed for early ballet training. In the second semester, dancers are introduced to the ballet barre, an essential component of classical training.

This all-in-one class is perfect for young dancers eager to explore tap and jazz! With upbeat music and supportive instruction, dancers will build a strong foundation in movement while discovering their favorite style. Each week brings new skills and fun combinations that keep dancers engaged and excited to learn.

This energetic and upbeat class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of jazz  in a fun, encouraging environment. Dancers will build a strong foundation through basic technique including kicks, turns, leaps, and isolations, while also developing coordination, rhythm, and musicality. One ballet class is required for level 1 Jazz participation.

This level one lyrical class introduces young dancers to the art of expressing emotion through movement. Blending elements of ballet and jazz, dancers will learn foundational technique while exploring storytelling, musicality, and creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This upbeat class introduces dancers to the foundations of hip hop through fun combinations and high-energy movement! Dancers will explore musicality, basic footwork, and coordination with a focus on building confidence and personal style. Set to age-appropriate music, each class encourages self-expression and creativity.

This versatile class supports a wide range of dancers and follows Levels 1–2 of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) syllabus. Whether you're new to ballet, building extra strength, or training in another style, this class helps lay a strong technical foundation.

This welcoming class is designed for teens at all levels and follows Levels 1–3 of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) syllabus. Whether you're just starting ballet or looking to strengthen your technique, this class offers a focused and supportive environment.

Ballet 1 builds on the fundamentals introduced in Pre-Ballet, offering dancers a deeper understanding of classical technique and form. This class lays the groundwork for long-term ballet training by focusing on clarity, alignment, and proper execution of movement.

Ballet 2 expands on the foundation built in Ballet 1, offering dancers a faster-paced class as they continue progressing through the CPYB syllabus. Students will be challenged with more complex movement combinations and a deeper focus on musicality, coordination, and control.

At this level, dancers move swiftly through the CPYB syllabus, building the strength and clarity needed for more advanced ballet training. Ballet 3 focuses on refining technique, developing stamina, and increasing the complexity of movement combinations.

This combined class serves advanced dancers in Ballet 4 and 5, offering a challenging and focused environment that supports growth at both levels. Dancers in Ballet 4 will begin learning advanced ballet vocabulary and more intricate combinations, with increased attention to strength, stamina, and artistry. Ballet 5 dancers will refine their technique and performance quality through advanced pedagogy and focused coaching. Emphasis is placed on versatility, endurance, and readiness for auditions, intensives, and performance opportunities.

This class is designed for the level 3 ballet dancer. Dancer’s not en pointe yet will use this class to build strength to prepare them for pointe when their body is ready for the challenge. New pointe dancers will use this class to begin their pointe training. Returning level 3 pointe dancers will use this class to advance them into the next level.

This level builds upon the fundamentals introduced in Jazz 1, with a faster pace and more complex movement combinations.nBallet enrollment is required at this level and beyond, as ballet technique supports the strength, alignment, and control needed for jazz progression.

Progressing through the jazz syllabus, this level focuses heavily on refining technical skills, proper alignment, and movement precision. Training centers on the physical control needed to execute advanced turn combinations, jumps, and detailed choreography.

Designed for our most advanced dancers, this class pairs rigorous technical training with an exploration of diverse jazz styles. Dancers will expand their stylistic range while perfecting high-level turn combinations, expansive jumps, and detailed choreography with strict physical control.

Modern / Contemporary Program

MC Level 2

Placement evaluation, Ballet enrollment required

In this level, dancers build on the foundations of modern technique while exploring more complex combinations and introductory improvisation. Dancers will learn the basics of floor week and inversions to prepare for the next level.

MC Level 3

This advanced class deepens dancers’ understanding of modern technique while introducing mature elements of contemporary dance. A dynamic and challenging class designed to support  technical growth through floor work, improvisation, inversions and lyrical story telling.

At this level, dancers have mastered floor work, modern technique, and improvisational skill. Ready to push their athleticism further, this class is for the pre-professional dancer and challenges students to bring full-body expression, technical precision, and creative exploration to every phrase on their movement

Hip Hop Program

Intermedite Hip-Hop

Ages 10 - 13 years

This intermediate class focuses on the distinct styles, timing, and dynamics of hip-hop. Dancers will build on their foundation by learning intricate combinations that challenge their coordination, rhythmic precision, and performance quality. In addition to the development of technical skills, this supportive learning environment boosts performance confidence and artistic expression.

Advance Hip-Hop

Ages 13+ years

This advanced class elevates the styles, timing, and dynamics of hip-hop. Dancers will push their training further with fast-paced, detailed routines that test their coordination, rhythm, and performance quality. In addition to advanced routines, this training focuses heavily on precision, body isolations, and movement versatility.

Acrobatics Program

This introductory class follows the primary through Level 2 of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, focusing on safe and progressive skill development. Dancers will build strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body awareness while learning foundational acro skills such as rolls, bridges, handstands, cartwheels, and introductory balances and transitions.

This intermediate class begins with Level 2 of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and progresses through Levels 3 and 4. Dancers will continue developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and control while advancing skills such as handstands, bridges, walkovers, balances, and connected acro sequences.

This advanced class follows Levels 4 through 6 of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Dancers will further develop strength, flexibility, balance, control, and coordination while working toward advanced skills such as walkovers, handsprings, aerial progressions, partner work, and connected acro sequences.

Adult Program

Ballet

Ages 18+

This class is perfect for adults 18+ who are new to dance or are looking to refine their skills. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet, starting at the barre and progressing to center work and across-the-floor combinations. This class offers a supportive space to learn, move, and grow—no prior experience needed!

Lyrical

Ages 18+

All experience levels are welcome!
This class offers a blend of Lyrical, Jazz and Modern Styles. Classes include a thorough warm up, stretches, center work and across-the-floor sequences. Dance combinations will be added into class curriculum each week.
